What is RiseNY?

Meet RiseNY: a breathtaking journey that lifts and connects you to New York City’s most famous sites and moments. Start with the city's expansive pop culture evolution through a multi-faceted, interactive journey through time, then fly over the iconic skyline on a thrilling, soaring ride that suspends you 30 feet in the air! Get ready to fall in love with New York all over again.

When do you open and what are your hours?

RiseNY opens at 10am daily. Hours vary by day.

When and where can I buy tickets?

Tickets are on sale now at riseny.co/tickets. You can also purchase tickets at our box office. 

What are the prices and do you have special rates for Adults, Kids, Seniors and Military?

Tickets start at $35. We do offer special rates for certain groups - please visit riseny.co/tickets for more information.  

Is there any discount or savings if I buy my ticket at the box office?

No, tickets are the same price online and at the box office.

Do I need to arrive exactly at my allotted time slot?

Yes.

Is the ride appropriate for all ages?

There is a 40” (1 meter) height requirement to ride the RiseNY ride, but visitors of all ages are welcome to enjoy the NYC pop culture history experience leading up to the ride.

Is there a weight limit on the ride?

RiseNY's ride can hold a maximum of 260 pounds per seat if every seat is occupied, and the seats are 19 inches wide. If anyone in your party is at or above 260 pounds, please have them inform our staff prior to seatbelt safety check and we can adjust seating on the ride accordingly to accommodate.

A member of my party has some trouble with sensory experiences. Should they participate in the ride?

Because the ride features strobe lights, loud sounds, wind, and scents, we don’t recommend it for people with sensitivity to sensory experiences. However, NYC’s pop culture evolution experience leading up to the ride should be fun for all members of your party!

I have a physical condition/I use a wheelchair or other mobility device. Can I ride the ride?

You must be able to properly wear the provided seatbelt and remain independently upright throughout the ride. Prosthetic devices must be secured, removed, or stored to prevent injuries to other participants. Certain hand, arm, leg, and joint elements may be required to participate.

The ride area is wheelchair accessible. Our team members are more than happy to help with specific questions and accommodations; however, they are not permitted to assist in transferring you on and off the ride. Those familiar with your condition, such as a family member, can assist. In case of any emergency or ride evacuation where you might require extra help or assistance, we ask that you be accompanied by someone who knows the best way to lift or carry you to ensure a safe evacuation.

Is the ride safe for pregnant guests?

In accordance with industry safety standards, we do not recommend the ride for expectant mothers.

Can I take photos?

You are welcome to take photos in the exhibition experience. However, for safety reasons, we don’t allow cell phones or cameras on the ride. For your convenience, there are free cubbies where you can store your belongings while you ride.

Do you offer special discounts for Groups?

We do - contact groups@riseny.co for groups of  more than 10.

Does RiseNY host private parties or special events?

Yes - contact events@riseny.co for more information.

Can I skip the ride if I don't want to go on it?

Yes - we want everyone experiencing RiseNY to be comfortable and have fun, so if the ride isn’t for you, you can pass by it.

How long does a visit to RiseNY last?

We recommend setting aside at least 60-90 minutes to fully enjoy the RiseNY experience.
